As a founder of “Charityflow” Tom is very much an active, hands-on, consultant providing a world-class independent philanthropy service. Professionally he has over 30 years experience as a Charity Law specialist and was ranked in tier 1 by Chambers & Partners. He has also co-authored “A Practical Guide to Charity Law”.

Tom Chaired of Mercy Corps, Scotland’s largest international relief and development agency and was Protector of the JESSICA (Scotland) Trust, established by the Big Lottery to develop new forms of social investment. He believes wholeheartedly in the transformational power of philanthropy. With his breadth of knowledge, his commitment to the cause and his high level of expertise, Tom’s mission is maximising the impact of philanthropic giving.
